We all use the Internet, but maybe 80% people do not have any specific information about the Internet. What is URL, What is the full form of URL, We just keep using the internet normally. If you are a student, then it is very important for you to get basic knowledge of internet. Such as internet, www, google, etc. What is url, What is the full form of URL.

We use anything on the internet, youtube facebook, google etc. So we are able to access those contents only through a URL. If you visit those websites using a web browser. So you can see, copy their URL.

But if you use it through the app. So you will not be able to see its link, nor will you be able to copy the link. So in this post we will give you information about these points.

What is url, What is the fu form of URL

The full form of URL is  Uniform Resource Locator . That is, in a way, an address or location on which any content can be accessed through the Internet.

The way you open files in your computer / mobile, there are many files in it. And different files contain many different types of contents. The same method applies to internet URLs that you place in those files.

In the same way, to extract data from the files of servers or to access any data, you must have the URL of that data i.e. path / URL.

For example, suppose you want to see something on the internet or get information. So normally you would go to Google, and search for that content. And those coming in the search result, clicking on any result will go to that page and get the information.

And in this process you go through many different URLs. First of all Google.com then on Google search URL. And then you are redirected to the URL on which you click on the search result.

No URL is created. Rather, the contents, programs are kept in different directories. And to reach them, we have to go through all those directories. Inside which that content is kept.

As you are reading this post, then you are also able to access this post only through a URL.

If you are reading this post in a browser. So maybe at the top you can see its URL. And is the most important part of any URL. The content is accessed by entering its domain name i.e. the name of the website, the path of the content after the name of the website.

such as Apsole.com/en/URL-ka-full-form-kya-hai/

First – domain name

after that

That is, after the main domain there is a “hi” directory.

There can be other directories in the same way. Which can be created by the website owner or anyone else after his permission. And the contents can be kept in it.

Anything like guide, category etc., apsole.com if you want. Or you can check by implementing them with any website. If there is that page on that website then it will be open. Otherwise page error will be shown.

So in that example “hi” is followed by /URL-kya-hai/ . That is, you will first go to apsole.com, and then go to its second directory “en”. Then you will be able to access that /URL-kya-hai/ content.

Although all websites have many directories and programs, but not everyone can access them.

How URLs Work

For mobile users

  • First of all open chrome, chrome is already installed in all android phones.
  • Create URL file:///storage/emulated/0/ ( This is a path to access your files via chrome. That too without going to your files. This is the same method as the internet URL)
  • Open this URL in your chrome. file:///storage/emulated/0/ and after that enter any folder of your mobile’s file. Be it download, DCIM, etc.
  • file:///storage/emulated/0/DCIM/ Open this URL in your chrome. Inside it you will find files like camera, screenshots etc. By clicking on which you can see the contents of your phone. That too through chrome, the way you visit websites. And their URL will appear in the URL box above.

What is URL

For desktop users

  • Open your chrome, and enter whichever drive you want
  • First of all enter the drive like C, D, E,
whatever drive you want to enter, just enter the URL structure which will be something like this ( file:///C:/Users/ )
  • After this enter the name of your computer and after that enter the name of that folder or file.
  • which you want to access. e.g. file:///C:/Users/MY %20COMPUTER/Desktop/white/

But if you want to access any drive other than the main drive through URL. So directly after file:///D:/ enter the name of that folder or file, such as file:///D:/blank.jpeg /

But perhaps it can be difficult for you to access a file in this way. Because you may not be able to enter the exact URL of that file. Therefore, the best solution for this is to go to the folder on your computer whose content you want to access through chrome. And drag that content (image, video, file) to chrome. That file will open in chrome and its path will appear in the URL bar.

If you do any task using internet. Even if you don’t see any URL in it. But all those tasks are URL based. For example, if you can transfer money online, for which you use Googlepay or Phonepay. You can take another example of this from YouTube. Like if you use the YouTube application, you play all the videos. But you don’t see any link in them. But if you will use a web browser, and open youtube.com. So you will see the links of all the videos in the URL BAR of that browser.
